Schindler's List and the Pianist would be up there for depiction of the horrors of WW2.

Worst?  Enemy At The Gates ... great idea but terribly executed with world's worst actor Jude Law as Vasily Zeitsev and the overrated Rachel Weisz with not a bit of make-up out of place as female Russian soldier during the Stalingrad siege ... total disappointment
