game delayed 15mins.....lads couldnt be bothered leaving the pub after the rugby by the looks of things.....

Now in fairness Tankie they are probably just coked off their faces and forgot the match  started at 5.  I see Dougie Howlett managed to get  in on time.
Anyway, long story short... is a phrase whose origins are complicated and rambling.
