new laptop

thinking of purchasing a new laptop - basically will be using alot of excel and word, although will surf the net occasionally, must be wireless will not be downloading any massive files, barring the odd pdf forms or somthing to that effect.

not looking to spend a fortune, but want somthing that will last a wile an is good

any ideas?

I just got a Dell Studop 15 there about 3 weeks ago, customisable so you can spend as much or as little as you want on it...very good job! :D

Most laptops would fit that description

Not entirely true. If your going to be opening large excel workbooks then I would reccomend a large screen (widescreen also) and possibley look at the processor spec. If you want to use it as a desktop replacement then go for a 17inch.
