Don't know if this was done before but i was wondering if anyone can think of 'Great' Players out there who won nothing (or very minor honours), and vice versa - a 'Shite' player who ended up by fortune on great teams and won many (coveted) honours!

Mat Le Tissier

Frank Leboeuf

Nothing - Shay Given, so far.

Alot - Traroe, David May and Ryan Giggs  ;)

Anyway, long story short... is a phrase whose origins are complicated and rambling.

Sure some people think your not a great player unless you won something  ::)

The most obvious would be Matt Le Tissier and Alan Shearer.
John Aldridge won very little too,he won a League cup with Oxford plus a couple of promotions with them and then he only won 1 league title and 1 FA Cup with Liverpool.

Gary Neville with nearly 100 England Caps and got knows how many United appearances is a 'bad' player?  Good one.  LeBoeuf won a few trophies did he not?

I think Joe Jordan has a league medal.
