KIDDO 4

No  Carrickmore players on this selection maybe Francie   knows more about football than some people give him credit for , remember Carrickmore did not win any  titles this year so they hardly merit anyone for an award.

KIDDO 4

Urney 0-7 Trillick 3-11, intermediate league this afternoon.

Wee Roddy

KIDDO, where did I say there should be any Carrickmore players on it? I am also not saying that Carrickmore deserve any but your arguement that they won nothing............what did Shane Mulgrews (who is a great player by the way) club win? Oh I forgot, a relegation play-off.
Did I hit a nerve with Hugh McNulty?? Perhaps Damien Burke, Fergal Donnelly, Gavin Teague, Gary Coney or Cathal McCarron might not care that Francie does not rate them but people tend to take what ever some journalists say as gospel. I just think the IN could have picked someone that is in touch with the club scene.

Radioulster

Heard a rumour that Chris Lawn will be taking over in Cookstown.

What does Francie Mooney know more than any other journalist ? Ask 5 Tyrone journalists and they would not all agree. It is a tough job and one that will always spark debate.

New format for leagues
04 December 2008

CCC chairman Ciaran McLaughlin has revealed that there will be a new league format introduced for the 2009 campaign.

The new format will see the leagues begin in early April, while there will be a break for a three week holiday in July, which coincides with the All-Ireland qualifiers.

The league will also see teams with county players drawn against each other, while teams with no county stars will be place in a different group.

Three 16-team leagues is the best format according to the delegates at a recent CCC meeting and the aim of this is not to have club teams going long periods without matches
.
