Quote from: UtilityMan on July 29, 2026, 09:21:41 AMThe Killyman story will never be repeated, never forget the scenes that day.

Who went down in 2nd bottom that year? That was some kick in the teeth.

Que the...
...but sure it was clear as day Killyman weren't fit to compete in Division 2 so why did they bother going up to Division 1🤡🤡🤡

That wasn't a bad Killyman team - Peter McGahan was snapped up by Coalisland just after this and without him they would not have won the 2010 O'Neill Cup.

Or, who has the worst club facilities? Particularly in the higher divisions.
Some clubs have the same changing rooms with no upgrades this past 30 years falling behind some clubs who are making massive strides

Don't think its fair to be shaming clubs based on their facilities which are largely funded by their communities and sponsors. I remember us going to play Strabane about 10 years ago in their old changing rooms whilst renovations were ongoing, very ordinary and got them to Division 1.

My club are extremely lucky to have a local sponsor who has pumped thousands into our facilities in the last decade. Not every club is lucky in this way.

Loughmacrorys new facilities are really impressive.

Did I say they are currently or did I say when. Good man it appears brain cell eating bacteria would starve in your brain.

Still never the less I fully expect kildress to be at it this weekend under Martin grimes. They will be licking their lips looking at derrylaughan on Friday

Quote from: Sean Coyle on July 27, 2026, 12:46:18 PMHearing thru the grapevine the Clarkes are preparing a video to send to the ccc of Niall McKenna ambushing one of their players off the ball from behind with an elbow to the back of the head on Friday night. Apparently it was horrendous. Awful behaviour if true

Truth, could have killed the lad. People locked up for less.

Anymore word on this? just been shown the video in pub last night. That is a diabolical act. Should be barred from GAA grounds for a year.

I think we can all agree rightly or wrongly tempers flare and lads can lose the run of themselves throw a punch etc when it boils over. But that has no place in our game. A cowardly act.

Themanupnorth

Be so strange if we manage to see a Dungannon vs errigal ciaran relegation play off. It is possible that it could happen

Pity our lads wouldn't show a bit of fight like this on field. Next 2 games crucial. Errigal a lot of teams to play around them and they've no fire power up front except mc Dermott. Could they be saving themselves for an intermediate all Ireland

Although Loughmacrory missing a few key players atm, the Clarkes look a different animal compared to only 10 days ago with 2 massive wins since. Loughmacrory will still be big favourites in the first round if they have everyone avaialble.
