I remember that final replay well.  Castledergs Winning point was actually wide.  Big Catterson was the man man for Castlederg.  Think he then transferred to Drumquin in later years.

No time for that sort of behaviour

Eglish for me, will be close and I think McKenna will play if required. He's already come out with a no regrets statement which I applaud!!

I expect Eglish to get sucked in to the Lough tactics and our neighbours join us at the top table. They reckon Herb Dean or big John McCarthy will be refereeing.

You'd imagine that Eglish would have too much for them.

Why? He'll obviously only get a fine but what if an Edendork player had decided to take him out and he suffered a major injury or just a major injury by cruel luck? He's no regrets because he got away with it - I don't think you'll see him play again for Eglish until his time in Australia is over, but what he did will probably keep Eglish up, I expect them to finish off Loughmacrory.

Personally I think he was foolish to play in the game. He's a star over in Oz now.

Good point. Edendork have form in this regard remember Cavanagh last year. I think he had his head stood on.
