Sean Hurston was very poor tonight two black/yellow card decisions against Dromore men ignored and the most blatant penalty decision ignored. If Dromore had of won I'm sure Coalisland would have been furious. Big Hampsey was magnificent and Sparky Bradley in the earlier game was also a joy to watch. Dromore far to negative Niall Sludden a sweeper! Jesus wept 🙈

Correct about sludden. Farcical watching it at times in the first half. Dromore half gone from a great game plan of spreading the play wide with the footpass under porter, to 15 men behind the ball with Donnelly coaching. Terrible.
Who was managing the team out there tonight, looked like Rickey to me in the first half. Coaisland were definitely value at 2/1 last week but I can't see them beating errigal.
Time to abandon pomeroy. Never have I seen a high scoring game there. May as well make more out of Healy park
Why is it farcical to play niall sudden as sweeper.
If you have to ask the question......
Maybe Ciaran Meenagh who has been managing Dromore now for 3 or 4 years knows the players at his disposal better than you. Maybe he felt Dromore were weak defensively and possibly hoped that Sludden would also give them something going forward unmarked.

Or maybe you know better
. Aye, his first round exit proves he's worth the money.

Aye,

I think that is quite a few first round exits for Ciaran.  Certainly worth the money.

Your lads have wasted a few pounds over the years too

Who was the Coalisland Maor Foirne? An absolute p***k.

Was it Jarlath O'Hagan? Is he managing the team or what, from where I was standing he seemed to be calling the shots.
It is what it is. Presumably.

The whole project will go down as a miserable failure, happens. Good few retirements now I would say.

Sure was.  Main instigator of the whatsapp coup a few months back but totally vindicated at this stage!

But we know when to cut our loses.  Not blaming Dromore for trying but i thought after losing to Clonoe last year that a change of management would have been required.

Dromore have lost by a point last three years when they've been eliminated from the Championship.

Why can't they get over the line in tight games?

This guy. I dont know what hes talking about? You would have to act the candyman with the way hurson reffed it.

GAA needs to look at second half injury time rules.

9 minutes 30 seconds played in the second half wind assisted. With 0 real stoppages.

1 minute played in the 1st when dromore against the wind and ward taking somewhere between 40-50 seconds a kick out + oneills injury.

Simple rule change. 2nd half substitution are 15 seconds for injury instead of the 30 theyre adding.

Considering teams sub at the same time.

Why would there be different rules for each half?

Hurson added on more time because Coalisland kept kicking the ball away for frees and kickouts once they went ahead.

Superb Fianna tactic in recent years this.

Lads we went in front with a minute to go in injury time and he gave them an extra 2 minutes to bring the half time to 39 minutes.  Did the fianna lads kick the ball away for a full minute?

Was at a few games over the weekend. Errigal looked flying fit, serious turn of pace from them. Carmen actually took off players that were performing well. Overall the better team won. Dromore disappointed yesterday, Their tactics were baffling at times, they have one of the best forward units around and yet played 12-14 men behind the ball. Could understand sludden playing as a sweeper in the first half against the breeze but with the wind second half he spent far too much time in his own half. Hampsey was immense, MOM by a mile. Coalisland errigal will be interesting. Cant see errigal allowing the short kick outs or the free man for kick outs the way dromore did. Is johnny curran injured?

A great win for Augher yesterday against loughmacrory.
I really expected it to be a tight encounter, but we had far too much for them on the day.
A tough lesson for a inexperienced Loughmacrory team, but they have a good few talented young lads, so I expect them to push on and be a senior team in the next few years.
Owen roes in the next round will be a different kind of game i expect, you rarely get a high scoring game up in Pomeroy so it could be a defensive battle.
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either

Personally I had no ties to the game yesturday, didn't bother me Coalisland doing that but I've seen them at it before - then again, I was also surprised they even allowed the ball to be worked down for McMenamin miss firstly, then Ruiri Sluddens after - I had expected a hauling and pulling match before Dromore got to the scoring zone.

Believe a few managerial resignations after the weekend. Not easy being a manager.
