TO, do you read what you write?

You lambast a poster for tarring all Tea Partiers with the one brush and then, hardly a breath taken, you wallop into the Zucotti Park crew as looking like they've never done a day's work.

And since when has the relative number arrested ever been absolutely indicative of the merits of a side's cause?  I'm thinking civil rights movements and internment here.

Heck, in my book, the number arrested is often a sure sign that a cause is right.

I think tyrone own needs to visit Texas or some other southern states to see some of the open racism on show. Or maybe visit NYC and ask a few black people about being pulled over for no reason and searched, just because they are black.
His eyes are firmly closed.
Fdny would not hire a Latino or black, even though the government told them they were breaking national laws. White or nothing. And they are untouchable.

Tyrones own

I've been to both, but why stop there, there is racism the world over and
it doesn't stop at evil whitey...its never the other way round...right?
The topic was the tea party here though, was it not? Could it be that
racism is unsubstantiated and blown completely out of proportion within the tea pay as a group hence the reason to move swiftly along to the police and fdny :-\

Where was the outrage with the disabled black fella being brutalized by SEIU union member thugs last year for simply holding a"don't thread on me flag"
Anytime Jessie Jackson opens his mouth for instance.
Could it be that racism worth highlighting exists only within conservative groups
and the republican party ???

Maybe you should hop on to youtube and educate yourself about racism within
the democratic party through out the last century and not simply go off what you'll learn from the mid stream media! #justsaying

The true charge of racism within parts of the historical Democratic party would hold more water where it not for the fact that the racists deserted the party and switched to the Republicans after the civil rights legislation and Nixon's southern strategy to exploit the divide. Strom Thurmond and Jesse Helms are only two of the more well known examples of the old segregationists who made that move. The Republicans were welcome to them. A shameful part of the Democratic Party history.

And how about the KKK's own Robert Byrd, did he make that move also?
Or where the Democrats happy enough and welcome to him?

That's true of course. Doesn't change the fact, however, that the Democrats lost the south over civil rights, as Johnson predicted.

It's also true then that it blows your argument in bold above right out of the water let alone hold more of it!
Point being of course hard as it is to read, this supposed racism that's only alive and well amongst the conservative groups
is for the most part unsubstantiated not to mention hypocritical in spectacular form  :-X

No, it doesn't actually. Of course, if you want to deny that there was ever a Nixon "southern strategy" or argue that the south did not in fact turn Republican in the aftermath of civil rights, knock yourself out.

Really?

Did the Republicans take over the electorate in the south, the home of segregation and institutionalized racism, for the first time in 100 years after the civil rights legislation or did they not? Did two different chairmen of the RNC in recent years disavow the use of race as a wedge issue by the Republicans in the south or not?

Yes, obviously not every single individual person motivated by race moved the Republican party, but the reset in southern politics as a result of the civil rights legislation and their effects and the Republican party's move to take advantage of it is undeniable.

Yes and yes though what that has to do with strengthening your case for the Tea Party being racist is very strange to say the least

Just a quick refresher for you;
"the fact that the racists deserted the party and switched to the Republicans"

You see this is a clear example of the spectacular, hateful indoctrination
and fabricated facts that the left level at conservatism on a daily basis
....throw enough shite and some of it is bound to stick, so to speak.
you should be ashamed of what you're throwing out
there as facts in an effort to shore up the socialist agenda.

Blame whoever you want but the right v mad right divide in the States seems to be heading towards making the place ungovernable. It seems particularly venomous when there is a Democrat in the White House.
