Only copped that last night. Beat Newcastle they're 6 points behind with a game in hand, I thought they were further off the pace. Newcastle are a good outfit, it's just they're drawing so many games of late has put them under a bit of pressure.

Lads, after the past six weeks, let's wait to see if they can put a few performances together.

Newcastle and Palace away, then Wolves and United at home. Madrid games in the middle.

We'll know where they're at in three weeks time.

Yep it was a good result for them but hard to judge the performance, Everton were so poor. Plus Newcastle very difficult team to beat.

But it's still a relief for them and with a few injured players coming back they might have turned a corner. Mad to think they've been so bad of late but haven't really lost any ground on Spurs or Magpies. Considering Newcastle have been unbeaten too.

Wouldn't surprise me if Liverpool did nick 4th tbh, if they beat Newcastle they're right in the mix, teams above them are nothing special. Liverpool have been woeful and not really lost that much ground- hopefully they stay woeful though because if they get the finger out they won't be far away

Anybody on here who went with the authorities' version were either gullible in the extreme or were trying to scoring points. Hopefully UEFA learn from it but that's doubtful under the current head, who seems a bad un.

Teams knocking around 4th or 5th will drop points - that's why they're 4th or 5th and not first or second.

My point above was that if Liverpool did manage to beat Newcastle (a very big if) then points wise they wouldn't be far off 4th.Obviously they have been woeful for most of the games, and form dictates they won't be within a hound's gowl.  I won't mention 4th again this season.
