Where would you play him? I'd expect him to come into the team as the year goes on, but first choice XI at the moment? What's yours?

Of course no doubt he'll be a regular as the season progresses, don't think he will start Sunday though with only one pre season game v Swindon under his belt.

Mine would be the same as Laoislad's apart from Firmino instead of Ibe. Not that I've ever seen Firmino play!

and a huge amount of optimism.

and yes I know I have Balotelli in there, and I'd have Ings come in for him for the last 30 minutes and Lucas coming in for Firmino at the same time to protect the 3-0 lead.

I'd be shocked if Mario is even on the bus to Stoke nevermind starting ahead of Ings or Origi who both have had decent pre seasons.

i didn't say it was likely- its just who I'd pick.
and with this kind of evidence, I can't believe I haven't been tapped up by FSG as a likely replacement.
Me and Klopp have to be the two top choices.

Was just in my local Boylesports there, in the run up to the start of the League there are a myriad of bets on view. One that caught my eye was "Next manager to go" Rodgers is a 5/1 favourite. Harsh

He's shorter odds than both of the above because it's pretty likely he has been given until Christmas to prove himself and save his job. Pellegrini is probably in the same position.
