If anyone's interested they should sign up while they can as apparently they intend to close it soon so they can get it ready for a commercial release.
is it not standard on the samsung galaxy anyway?

I have no idea, I only know what I read. One thing is certain though, you can't get it in the Market.

Really I always thought you knew way more than that.

Downloaded the Irish News app. I was expecting some kind of iphone-friendly subscription package. 15 bucking pounds they want for a month. They can shove it. A few back issues are available to try out. I understand maybe the iPad format justifying that price.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Chopper 2 is good.

O'Neill the App Store review for the IN app, entitled "Shite" should have been a warning.

I have found a cunning way of getting the Times online subscription for £1 a month continually.

Downloaded Viber. Free iPhone to iPhone phonecalls. Haven't tried it out yet, but a work colleague does and he says it's fantastic.
Testing Accessibility

Similar to that one Ziggy, but has anyone tried out Ping chat? Its more or less free text messaging to other iphone, blackberry and other smartphone users I think.

Radda bout yeee

Main ones I use:
facebook
tom tom
wikipanion (good for sorting out an argument in the pub)
sky sports centre (good for keeping u updated on scoree)
Paddy Power (good for losing money)
skype
whats app (good for instant msg for free)

lurganblue

Yeah I use pingchat. Although I get messages for free anyway it's good to send media files for nothing. It's also good to have group text conversations on.

The best app for football scores is livescore by a country mile!!

Long hold anywhere you put in text to bring up the input method option.

Problem with it that apparently it resets with each reboot - so you have to select it as your keyboard again.

Livescore is way faster and it'll also keep you up to date with those crucial Latvian second division scores

Sky Sports Centre is a dog unless you are using it on wi-fi. It's quicker for me to use teletext in the house!
