Silly question coming up ---

but with this sky team having two exceptional riders in wiggins and froome could they approach tdf 2013 with possibly one team built for wiggins and a spearate team for froome ? it just seems so unfair on this froome guy that he has now shown himself to be as much of a contender

Froome is on a new 3 year contract otherwise he could have had some very tasty contract negotiations. I can't imagine he'll want to dish out "Froome Service" to Wiggins for another 3 years though.

would wiggins do for froome next year what froome has done for wiggins this year ?

Wiggins was quoted as saying that Froome will win the TdF at some stage and he will be there beside him when he does. It was an internal decision within Sky for Wiggins to makeup the time in the TT stages with Froome taking him through the mountains safely. If it is a particularly mountainous circuit next year they may make Froome the lead bike. I would say he'll demand it!

Rumour has it that the second time trial in next years tour is up Mount Ventoux and the the route will be more mountainous. Advantage Froome, Contador, Schleck.

They had a time trial up Alpe' d'Huez a few years ago. Assuming Froome goes to the Vuelta, it will be very interesting to see him against both Contador and Schleck.
