He's going to go down as someone who's talked a lot and achieved nothing if he doesn't watch himself. Yes he's achieved at club but he's crying about county and has never really dedicated himself to it.

I think this is a good appointment. Hopefully he'll do well.

Hs how many teams win nothing. We've done ok in the last few years considering. There is much more in us in my view if we get the right appointment which hopefully this is.

Played under Frank at club level and cannot speak more highly of him  Yes, he winds people up and all the rest, but he always seems to get the best out of whatever team he manages.  He managed three clubs in Down, won a County title at Clonduff, took Longstone to only their second County Final only to loose in a reply and won 2 titles and an Ulster final appearance with Burren.  You can't really argue with that.

I know County level is a different animal but I would say Frank has it in him.  As a Galls man he may have influence over certain individuals also.

Along with the rest of the Antrim footballers no doubt. But you're right and I'll be getting it in the ear tonight at the Europa Hotel for the clubs fundraiser after saying this, he has fooked up over the years playing for Antrim, and he is his own worst enemy.

So the conversations tonight should be good

I've nothing against the guy just dont like the way he turns against his own. If he did his talking on the pitch playing for Antrim he might get a big more respect

Oh, that's winning something. Right....

More than motor mouth McGourty has won

Sigerson, numerous county championships, Ulsters and AI Club?

::) Correct me if I'm wrong but he's done and won nothing at county level (where it counts!) When Antrim progressed in recent years he was missing i believe? But he's first in the media shouting about how it should be done at county level. Strange.

None of them have won anything at county level.

Going by your thinking as well we should scrap all the club championships then as they don't count?

Do you think he rings the paper for the interviews or the other way round?

What's that got to do with anything. What's stopping him from saying "I'm not in a position to commit for the County but I wish the lads all the best!"

I think that unless he puts his money where his mouth is he can't say a whole lot. A good player don't get me wrong but why he's getting full page spreads in the IN I don't know. There are many Cross lads around the place who have won a lot more and say very little!!

It's the newspaper Journo phoning him I'm sure. Not the other way round

Maroon Heaven

Big Fan of Frank Delargy myself - Has wanted this job for so long and always been knocked back. Taken up numerious Club Manager positions around the province and done well.

Give it to Delargy and let him have a go.

Lenny as well is a good shout.
