I stayed in a travelodge in Richmond when over for the Heiniken cup final last year and the buses ferry you to and from the stadium. I was a lot handier than I had anticipated so I wouldn't worry so much about getting a hotel right beside the stadium

Thanks, I was looking at that Travel-lodge as a possibility, just hope they have the same arrangments for this concert

Going to this one too.  I'm flying in to Heathrow and was probably going to stay at a hotel at the airport.  Can't find too much around the stadium except a few b&bs.

Yeah I was thinkin that there'd be a few hotels around the airport, but it'd be handier for me to stay closer to central London to make it to Euston station in North London the next day

have you seen maiden before? I missed them the last to times and wasnt prepared to put up with the nonsense of Donnington to go see them last time. Will be seeing them at Wacken later this year as well.

Ive seen them a good few times in Belfast and Dublin.  One of the best gigs I have been to was the Dance of Death show at the Point (the booing night).  Typical of Maiden that it took them no time to get the crowd back on side and they went down a storm in the end.  They were the first band I saw in 1991 and I'm looking forward to seeing them in their own back yard.  I considered one of the Scandanavian dates aswell but they sold out in minutes.

Aye, Wacken is sold out as well, thankfully got my ticket last october. One of the lads is flying on this "Birthday Bomber" thing where they fly with Bruce and the band on their plane for Bruces birthday i think.
