Funny enough i like south of heaven and seasons, over reign in blood, maybe it was the short 32mins of the album,

GnR's Appetite is my favourite hard rock album, it's one of those extremely rare records that's great from the first track to the last.

Some of the lyrics and their personas verged towards glam rock but for me the music is the quintessential sound of hard rock, right up there with the best of Zepplin, the Stones or Lizzy.

appetite is a ten out of ten album, it was so anti glam at the time, pure class, no filler at all.

Was at that Faith no More gig in the ulster hall even though i wasn't a fan. Bumped into the band after and spend a while talking about Death Metal and drinking beer with the keyboard player.

Any of you into Thrash hear Sabbat, Kreator or Destruction before?

Still listen to lizzy, rush, scorpions, maiden, motley crue, ac/dc, sabbath and Y & T if only the hair lasted as well as the music :)
