Interesting take on whay Aisake was moved Reillers. I suppose it does make some sense. I thought it strange as Aisake was murdering Maher in there...

O'Neill looks good attacking but then who would you take out of the HB line. I also think Naughton would be better off in midfield but that guy McLaughlin was quite good there.

Should be an interesting clash come c'ship assuming no-one else in munster gets in the way.

From the Tipp perspective I thought young McGrath looked like he would be more at home in the corner forward slot.I think there half forward line will be vastly different come c'ship.

Well to be fair that's the only reason people I can think of, he was cleaning out on Maher.
Naughton probably is better off in the middle. It's hard to tell how the new lads will do on a big Championship day but we've had a few good lads give good displays.
I'm looking forward to Naughton having a go at Championship level, he's been around for a few years..I mean who could forget his debut..but he's been on and off form, but this year, with the club, he's been fantastic and hopefully will carry that form on to Championship.

It's Cork and Tipp first up and hopefully we'll do enough, we're still a work in progress but Walsh seems to have an idea in his head of what he wants, the players are as determined as ever it seems and we're in the habbit of winning and we've won without playing to our best by any sense of the word, or with our best team. A lot of experimenting done and a lot learned. It's been an inetersting League and hopefully now we'll push on and win the thing.

Reillers you have consistently questioned team selections so don't give me that FFS nonsense again.
Even if you continue to try to make out you haven't the least you could do is acknowledge the criticism prior to this match was misplaced.
As for the 'Ger thing' I was just relating to where Cork have been and why and where they are now. Big deal.

Consistently..where would that be now? I said it could backfire, I then said that it didn't..what is your problem.

Sure ye can't even acknowledge misplaced criticism from yesterday.

But sure...

"Cork team for the KK match..

The Cork Senior Hurling team to play Kilkenny in the Allianz National Hurling League on Sunday, March 14th at 2.30pm in Páirc Uí Chaoimh will be as follows:

   1. Donal Og Cusack - Cloyne
   2. Shane O'Neill - Bishopstown
   3. Eoin Cadogan - Douglas
   4. Shane Murphy - Erin's Own
   5. John Gardiner - Na Piarsaigh
   6. Ronan Curran - St Finbarr's
   7. Brian Murphy - Bride Rovers
   8. Tom Kenny - Grenagh
   9. Cathal Naughton - Newtownshandrum
  10. Ben O'Connor - Newtownshandrum
  11. Mark O'Sullivan - Dripsey
  12. Niall McCarthy - Carrigtwohill
  13. Kieran Murphy - Sarsfields (Captain)
  14. Aisake O hAilpín - Na Piarsaigh
  15. Patrick Horgan - Glen Rovers

Subs:
Anthony Nash - Kanturk
Conor O'Sullivan - Sarsfields
Sean Óg O hAilpín - Na Piarsaigh
Michael Walsh - Kildorrery
Graham Callanan - Glen Rovers
Jerry O'Connor - Newtownshandrum
Michael Cussen - Sarsfields
Paudie O'Sullivan - Cloyne
Luke O'Farrell - Midleton

Eh..that team. While it's great to see that mid pairing..the rest..some major problems.
And even the bench is poor. No Egan, no Ray Ryan, no Cian McCarthy, no Chris Murphy, no O Leary, hopefully he's just being rested after the Fitzgibbon Cup. But really like.

But some of the decisions are a bit strange. Hoggie still lost up at corner forward..Shane O Neill still in the corner, Gaa at 5, Curran at 6 again, Brian Murphy on the wing yet again ffs. ..Niall mc ahead of Cian mc and Aisake ahead of Cussen. That's a bit of a joke. There's no way he should be in there aheadof Cussen. And Niall Mac against Kilkenny ahead of Cian McCarthy..what's the point like ffs.
Like there are positives. While there are some strange decisions sub wise, Mike Walsh and Luke O'Farrell are on the panel Mark O'Sullivan at centre forward is a plus. As it having the Newtown boys eventually back.

I'm worried about that half back line, can't see it holding. It's a tad bit suicidal to be fair. Sure fingers crossed. I thought that we'd give them a right go, but now..with that team. Was looking forward to going to the match..now dreading it a bit. You're asking for trouble with that team.

But wait and see I suppose.

Probably wont acknowledge that either!

So much could be highlighted but what's the point?

As for Aisake, won the first few balls and after that was ineffective at FF and CF and don't doubt Tipp would be able to cope with him in championship. Wouldn't be surprised if he's not there come championship.

And I said about 2 posts down from that one, before the game, that looking at it again it makes a bit of sense. But really what the hell is your problem.
Why are you so obsessed. I mean what's it got to do with you at whether I "acknowledge" this apparent "misplaced" "obligatory" criticism of "every match" (where these posts are I've no idea..) maybe you're not sure the difference is between discussing and criticising something is. Ah well..
But really why are you so obsessed? If you're not moaning about me or my posts our going on about Ger Mac, a year later and you continue to complain about it.

You're paranoid of course Reillers. All I asked of you was what were your thoughts after the match in relation to your team criticism before. Nothing more nothing less. Like you always attempt to give the impression you've a handle on things in Cork. A little humility wouldn't go amiss.

As for 'where these posts are' it's dated FFS.

Put your glasses on FFS!!!!!

By the way where's that bit again Reillers, having trouble finding it.
