tyroneboi

was a bit premature there i think - by the skin of our teeth!! sounds like a terrible last 10 minutes not looking good for the summer no matter what anyone says!

Bensars

from the sound of it, peter donnelly wont play full back again

Carmen Stateside

ffs he should never have been there!! >:(

Redgreenery

Kildare and Laois drew, Galway won, Donegal won. That puts Kildare and Galway level on points but Galway have a far superior score difference so that means Mayo are playing Galway in the semi's.

I take it Harte didn't put Joe In at FB when he came back on, Donnelly obviously struggled again.
Can McConnell shoulder some of that blame though, by the sound of it he made a couple of bad decisions.
Barring things can be turned around big time, i can't see us troubling anyone later in the summer.
Seem to be lacking the required hunger imo. :-\

Did they move Carlin off Mortimer in the second half for he had marked him well in the first half! Going to be a long summer hope the weathers good :-\

Anyone who was at the game with a report?? ???

ziggysego

I'm shit at reports Redgreenery, I'm sorry.

Dermot Carlin had a terrific game.

As for Tyrone getting two penalities, I'm afraid I have to disagree.. as much as it pains me. Mulligan did throw himself down in front of the goals. However, Mulligan shouldn't have got a red card, he never made contact. I should know, happened right in front of me.

Tyrone should have been miles away at half time, as they were the better team. Mayo however were lucky, sometimes at the hands of the ref, but they totally dominated Tyrone in the second half and deserved their victory.

Apparently Ger Brady was a great option at FF today. Anyone at the game agree with this? Billy Fitz was well excited by the prospect of it on Wildwest!!

Redgreenery

Yeah it sounded like he done a great job there and scored some nice points, the position sounds like it suits him anyway. JOM is obviously working well with the team and is not afraid to change a few things around and experiment.
