this ref is a disaster. he was bad twenty years ago

joemamas

if I could reach inside the TV I would clobber marty with his Zero8  comments. He has said it five times in the past four minutes.

I tipped Derry to win this but that was based on paddy Bradley actually touching the ball a few times. Derry need to find a way to make this happen in the 2nd half or Tyrone will pull away.

milltown row

more action in the first ten minutes in yesterdays hurling match thatn the 52 minutes served up so far

it is rare unprecedened)that I will turn off a football game , but I am getting close. It is puke football. one point in twenty minutes.

Think it's time the rest of the province stopped riding on Tyrones coat-tails.
After them there's a reeeeeeeeeeeeeeal big drop-off.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

Tyrone were not at their max today, but won well. One has to wonder about the spread for the Ulster final.

What a brutal game, Tyrone going through the motions and still scored more than double Derry. Very flat game for the most part, didn't expect that to be honest. Well done Tyrone, Ulster champs 2009.

Good win. Tyrone will need to improve on many aspects of that performance but at this stage of the summer its just about making progress and taking the most direct into the All-Ireland series. As such that was job done without too much fuss so got to be happy. After coming through two tricky looking matches to reach this stage Tyrone will need to keep their eye on the ball for the final for which they are going to be made strong favourites.

would like to hear a summary of Brolly/Spillanes comments after game.

Good win despite a no show from Cavanagh, Mc Ginley  and to a lesser extent O Neill.  Penrose my motm followed closely by Hub Hughes who is in the best looking shape in a number of years.
Tyrones depth showed with the subs they were throwing on.  Dooher, B Mc Guigan , Mc Cullagh and young O Neill from Dromore shows the talent they have available.

By the way were was Paddy Bradley today??

Very very surprised by how poor Derry were. Just couldn't get enough ball into the Bradleys enough. Would have been interesting to see how they'd have done with a full team available but you'd have to think that Tyrone would have had a bit to spare anyway. With all their players available, Tyrone are arguably stronger now than they have been at any stage in the last decade.

Looking at the sending off there - McGuckan seems harshly enough done by. Ok he challenged Cavanagh off the ball and that sparked the row but it was still probably only a yellow. Thought Penrose threw what looked like a punch. Eoin Bradley also seemed fortunate enough to me - thought that was a rough enough challenge a couple of minutes later.

Hard to see Derry picking themselves up now - their focus is bound to have been on Ulster. Still wouldn't fancy them in the qualifiers though - lots of big name teams lying in wait in the early rounds!
As I dream about movies they won't make of me when I'm dead

I thought Colm Cavanagh and Penrose threw punches in the cuffle, didn't really see what McGuckin did wrong...

On the match as a whole, Derry just didn't show up, the rumours about Bradley's fitness were maybe true?? That said, McMahon did some job, remember last year some posters were pulling their hair out at the thought of him at three...

The strength in depth from Tyrone just paid dividends, the players coming off the bench were a different class to Derry's, where the injuries and suspensions really hit them hard in the end.

Impressed with G O'Kane on Cavanagh, kept him quiet on the whole, I have both them in my dream team but was hoping Sean would edge it as he could get me more points...

The Tyronies will be happy to see Dooher, McCullagh and B McGuigan getting some game time.

Do Tyrone need to show up for the final or can we just award them the title now? Save a whole load of hassle tbf

What was the extent of Stephen O'Neill's injury do you think?? He has absolutely no luck.
