Well, less than 2 weeks to the final and i would like to hear neutral opinion on this one.
Personally i think it will be very close and hopefully we can shade it by a point or two.
We should have all our players fully fit by Paddy's day.

Cross by 6-8 points.

Anyone any betting for this game?

Tony McEntee included? What was the damage with him?

Have a sneaking feeling that KC might win this, if KC pick the right team. The team imo has to include O'Sullivan and Ó hÉineacháin to stand a chance in the final. THe KC subs will also be strong. Winning an AISF by a cricket score is always a recipe for disaster imho, regardless of the amount of effort put in by mgt of trying to get the team to disregard it.

Expect Vaughan to be marked out of the game and it will be a matter for the other KC forwards to exploit the space that he will create by being possibly over marked.

SidelineKick

KC have struggled through alot of their games.  That can be seen as a worrying aspect or on the other hand it shows good character.  I think that Cross have a good momentum going with convincing wins and they are advanced enough at this stage to not be complacent.  Think they will be too strong for them on the day.

Cross by 3.

It's a hard game to call.  Going into the semi final people expected Cross to beat the Limerick lads but not in the fashion they did.  The question is where the bad or where Cross simply superb on the day?  Seeing Munster football at first hand they are not as bad as it was portrayed and I think that people dismissed the excellent Cross performance too easy.  Crokes were good in the semi but they could have been caught by Corofin.  They lost their main defender early on, had no real forward power and Vaughan was very lucky with his "super" goal.  He took about 10 steps.  The ball seemed to bounce well for them on the day.

We are very strong around the middle and I doubt if the Croke forwards will have come up against as strong a defence.  Midfield will be a very interesting battle and much will depend on how Carr plays it.  Magee is a great workhorse in the middle and much will depend on how he can get his hands on as many balls as possible either clean or broken.  I think if the Cross half back line get on top early on they will win with about 4 to spare.  Otherwise it will be tight but I still fancy us to win but it won't be easy

Can't see Crokes winning this to be honest

Which one of the Cross defenders will pick up Vaughan? Paul Kernan, Paul McKeown? If Cross get on top in midfield it will be a long day for Crokes, but there is a possible weakness there, David McKenna will have to have a big game. He seems to be stepping up to the plate recently, Cross need that to continue.
Keep your pecker hard and your powder dry and the world will turn.

It'll be a tough one alright for Crokes to win but I think it will be closer than many think.

The dilemma for me is whether or not I can bring myself to cheer on the team from my own province.
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

Personally, like to see the "City" teams do well in the club competition as a counter balance to the traditional perception of  the GAA as a predominately  "rural" organization. Was very disappointed to see the Belfast boys (St. Pauls I think) lose some years ago in the bitter cold to Salthill (another city team). Would have imo been a great boost to Belfast GAA.
There seems to be a bias against such urban teams doing well as if they are some type of ugly interloper into the compettition. No disrespect to CR but I think that urban teams winning the AICF are better (given the future demographics) for the GAA. These urban teams have their own specific difficulties in promoting the GAA which imo are often glossed over.

Just my personal opinion lads .

I'd expect Paul McKeown to pick him up.

It would be quare craic if Francie was marking him..... Vaughan could get grooming tips from a fellow ginge :D

I fancy them very very strongly stiffler, and am going to have a large bet on them at the 8/11 available while it still lasts, once Cheltenham is over of course..
