2 ends of the spectrum  - The haka and the dallas cowboy cheerleaders.

The Haka is a great spectacle altogether, the cheerleaders are there to take the fans minds of the fact that the game they are there to watch is complete and utter bollocks. If it wasnt for the snippets of music and the gyrating wemen every thirty seconds there would be nobody at the games. :P

An inferior sport that American Football.
Armagh, the one true love of a mans life.

That lad that used to get the odd league game for Kerry at full forward and the lad on the Nenagh team in the famous Eddie Moroney commentary - "what de feck is his name at all ... Quick ... Quin ... Quirke, I think. Yeh Quirke".

Rangers players habit of every player sh*tting in the jacuzzi when they play at Celtic park.  Classy.

Always think of the story of the Steau Bucharest 'keeper from the 1986 European Cup final. Acclaimed as a hero for his penalty saves that won the game for his club, Ducadam never played properly again as the Securitate supposedly broke his arms out of jealousy (or because he wouldn't hand over the car that he won for his MOTM performance). Who's to say that he wouldn't have been playing in goal v Ireland that day in Genoa in 1990 - our subsequent soccer history may have been a lot different.

QuoteSurely thats not true

The Scottish Cup Semi Final was staged at the new parkhead season 96/97.  Some idiot gave Rangers the home dressing room instead of giving it to Dundee.  The Rangers players used the jacuzzi as a toilet.   Fergus McCann sent a letter and the the bill for cleaning it to David Murray but never got a response.  Apparently Murray has it as a keepsake which he shows to the most ardent fans.  Naturally enough Rangers were never allocated the home dressing room again.

I remember doing the tour of Old Trafford and the tour guide telling us that Gazza used to shit in the bath whenever Spurs played there...classy.
