st galls used to train up at belfast harlequins (i  think it was them anyways), used to play for quins when i lived in belfast - it was a a funny situation to say the least- gall trained on the main pitch with the match floodlights the quins lads trained on the surrounding pitches- the banter used to be great and all pure harmless- all the catholic boys used to clap the galls lads off the pitch after training and then go in a tog in with them - it used to drive the other lads mad but it was all very lighthearted to say the least good craic- a good gesture.

anything that brings communiuties together has to be encouraged- leave the what would or should happen out of thing and just give it a go, and leave the balme game out of thing- the gaa does not sit well with some communities and has a history of associating with terrorism - commeations etc in casement park- we are a sporting organisation not a political one- leave the politics to the clowns and the ball to the real people

Without wishing to sound conceited, it surely shows the magnanimity of our association that warmly welcomes a coach (and a member of the PSNI to boot)  from arguably the most sectarian soccer club in Europe. Well doen to all concerned particularly my good friend Eamon Connolly

It would be akin to Linfield employing a GAA coach who is a member of Sinn Fein.

On what basis is this assessment made? Club policy? The make-up of the supporters?
Surely on any argument the two Glasgow sectarian  monsters leave the likes of Linfield (or Cliftonville) in the hapenny place.

Sad to see how genuinely positive developments in our narrow little society provide the opportunity for the flat-earthers to surface with the tired old sectarain bile.
Fierce tame altogether

dead right leave the nonsense in glasgow where it belongs, them idiots deserve each other both sides claiming alterboy status while projecting the others as thugs etc, lads the one thing we do know is they all are scetariam racist pricks the lot of them on both sides, dont let that stupidity enter gaelic games there is enough sectarianism in gaa without adding to it. if a lingfield man helps anyone in the gaa i would glady shake his hand, similarily if a gaa man helps out lingfield i would shake his hane too- be bigger than the bigotts i say
