Grand. I got work access cut off the last time Tyrone won the all Ireland .
How are Monivea Abbey shaping up this year ?
I was home for the club final and am looking forward to watching Joe Canning. 

It is good to see Tipp beating Cork  but at the end of the day they have to be good enough
to put it up to the Cats. Anything but another Cork or KK all-Ireland this year le cunamh De. 
Jesus, 1998 is 10 years ago. And it only felt like yesterday.
I wouldn't even begrudge an all-Ireland to Tipperary !

Fair play to Tipp. They hung in there when it looked like Cork were going to run away with it in the first half. The last 15 minutes the Cork legs just looked shot. Not sure whether it's down to a lack of fitness after starting later than everyone else or the fact that some of their top players have been on the go now since 1999 and have a lot of milage in their legs. The pebble especially seems yards off the pace these days so much so that even Eugene Cloonan apparently had him in all sorts of bother in a recent challenge game and Eugene is no pace merchant like Lar Corbett.  Even their famed half-back line is not performing to the standard of old. Hard to get all three of them playing well on the same day anymore. Cork though would have felt that a one point lead at half-time was scant reward for the dominance they had. Tipp must have been delighted going in at the break.

That said Cork they were hardly helped by their own sideline yesterday. Taking off Timmy Mac when he was making a nuisance of himself to the Tipp defence and then introducing Joe Deane with 5 minutes to go when they're 5 points down. Not much time to work a miracle there. Indeed the forward line had a bit of a raw look about it even beforehand.

Tipp must be the main contenders now for Kilkenny's crown. They'll surely win Munster and then we'll have to wait and see who comes though the qualifiers to meet themselves and the cats. Cork and Waterford looking vulnerable these days but will get a chance to regroup.

Galway out of action now for a while but picking up injuries while they're at it. Kevin Hynes broke his jaw over the weekend and is out for the Summer apparently.

Not exactly a long way. They only have to win one more game and I don't see Clare or Limerick beating them.
