I think everyone should let the dust settle on this one. All you read at the minute is speculation and shit stirring. I still am confident he will play for the Premiership and European Champions next year. ;)

Is he moving to Arsenal??? :P

Alot of the stuff Lipton and all would be writing about comes probably from peoeple close to Ronaldo who would not want to be quoted. So more relaible than you think, but still unrelaiable.

It could just be a misunderstanding.  Maybe a reporter was playing ProEvo 2008 on the PS3 with Ronaldo.  Afterwards the reporter asked him if he wanted to play for real (i.e. a real game of footie).  Ronaldo said yes and the whole thing showballed.......

Agreed a five year deal according to Spanish press. Either total bullshit or a lot has been going on behind the scenes.

I think Ronaldo will stay at United or move to Madrid. You heard it here first.

To be honest, at this stage I think that if he wants away, now's the perfect time to sell him. Worst thing for United would be to do what Arsenal did twice by refusing to sell Viera and Henry then having to let them go on the cheap the next summer. With 4 years left on his contract Ronaldo is as valuable now as he'll ever be (yes it a horrible way to think of a footballer but unfortunately that's the way Abramovich / Edwards / Kenyon / Glazer / Hicks / Gillett et al have bastardised the game). He should be worth at least £50 million which could be used as effectively as a sulking Ronaldo.

No player is bigger than the club.
As I dream about movies they won't make of me when I'm dead

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Ronaldo has agreed a five year contract with Madrid and is waiting for Madrid to formally make an offer to United

I saw the story in todays Irish Times, seems to be a matter of "when" not "if". . . . . .

Amazing how happy Minder is about Ronaldo leaving. I thought he thought Ronaldo was shit?

Minder

Where did i say i was happy? I wouldnt be too bothered if he left as he will never have another season like last season, what brings a smile to my face is how fickle football fans are,at all clubs, when he does go we can expect him to be public enemy number one, similar to John Terry after the Champions League Final

Is that bollox Ronaldo away yet ? It's getting really annoying reading about him at this stage.

rooney would be far bigger loss than ronaldo,

hes great player, but hes not die hard united so he can go feck off to real madrid and turn into a global icon like beckham,

at united its football first, playboys second,

thats way it always will be,

ronaldo is at a peak in his career i feel, he wont top wat hes done

lurganblue

Quoterooney would be far bigger loss than ronaldo

i doubt that

well facts dont lie, united were unbeaten in premiership with rooney in the side, but lost 4 without him,

to say he would be a far bigger loss is maybe a big extreme but id definitely prefer to keep rooney, he has work rate and tenacity, and if played in the correct position (in the whole behind striker) he is in a class of his own i feel,

but i don't want to veer from the topic,

100 million for ronaldo, united can buy richards for right back, berbatov or cruz, plus maybe one more
