I don't know. We've heard the Texas-turning-blue thing a few times before, and while I understand Beto was never in the position Talarico is in the polls, MAGA always seems to be undercounted in polling.

I haven't heard much about it here in NYC, and while you hear the odd story about someone screwing with them in the city suburbs and upstate, I'm not aware of it being a massive political issue in NY at the moment. Haven't seen any ads about it.

I do know that Bruce Blakeman, the Trump stooge who is running for governor, has rolled them out big time in Nassau County on Long Island. Maybe the MAGAt cops and firemen who live out there like them.
