11 years for the 'main' one though is reflective of what the PPS had sought. The fact that they are consecutive rather than concurrent is the kicker I guess.

11 years for the 'main' one though is reflective of what the PPS had sought. The fact that they are consecutive rather than concurrent is the kicker I guess.

The Crown suggesting an actual sentence is a relatively new requirement. They would have been doing that for the totality of the sentence. So it's still 50% above what they were looking which means one of three things. They got it wrong, the Judge got it wrong or the media misreported something.
