Not sure I would just be as harsh as others on Glen.
Couple players off form but by no means at the age to retire ie. Glass, Ethan, Conleth Mc G partner that with players injured or not fully fit, Mc Faul, Dougan, Danny Mc Dermott.
Jody Mc Dermott and Conor Convery having to fill roles that probably not best suited too. There by no means finished.

I do think we have probably slipped into a top two bracket with a chasing group of clubs all capable of being eachother on their day if they give it another push in the below order:
Bellaghy
Slaughtneil
Lavey
Glen
Kilrea
Ballinderry
Steelstown
Swatragh
Glenullin
Banagher.

In what world are Bellaghy better than Glen or Slaughtneil? Glen beat them by 20 points a month ago 🤣

Magherafelt & Newbridge are definitely a top 2 but Glen & Slaughtneil are still 3 & 4 with Lavey sitting a bit behind in 5th. The rest have little between them

Last weekend in a knockout game Bellaghy had Newbridge beaten only for their keeper to beat them. Newbridge beat Glen comfortably in a knockout game. See the difference, knockout championship. I'm no fan of Bellaghy but unfortunately I see a team there not that far away.

Btw where is Dungiven in that list?

Forgot them alright, I would say above Kilrea? Or maybe between Kilrea and Ballinderry?

As for the Bellaghy argument, they were super against Dungiven in first game, had an absolute stinker against Glen but lost CHB and whole shape just fell apart. Settled themselves got through another battle against Dungiven and were robbed against Newbridge. Bellaghy are moving one way, Glen the other.

Normal to have two south Derry teams in Senior Final.

But it must be first time in a while that two south Derry teams are in the Intermediate Final?

There'll be some traffic on the Glenshane that day.

zapped

Aye, orange money robbing pricks.

Christ don't make it a South Derry/ North Derry thing.

I suppose there were two North Derry teams in Junior final so that maybe helps.

All stirring the pot aside, 1 North Derry team getting past the quarter final stage of the Senior and intermediate championship has to be a worry for the County Board.
We're not getting enough out of these clubs at all.

There was 2 in intermediate? Unless either Craigbane or Eoghan Rua have moved locations from the last time I checked

Brendan

Cut them adrift, a complete waste of resources.

I dont count Coleraine as North Derry anyway but just to clarify is it them or Craigbane youre forgetting about?

What do you consider Coleraine as then?

A lot going on here. You've contradicted yourself and appear to have miscounted.

As has been talked about previously, this is more to do with playing numbers than the part of the county they sit in. Anyone who has coached at club underage level in the county over the last number of years has to have noticed this.

The first part was a joke that went over your head.

Sorry the numbers thing can't always be an excuse, there's big numbers and big catchment areas up there and then add in the city.

Newbridge are double county champions and have to have the smallest catchment area in Derry.

The only one I was counting was Craigbane, add Coleraine in if you like. To be honest I'm not sure if they are North or South.

But 2 clubs doesn't make the argument much stronger.

Miscounting or trying to make out I'm wrong wouldn't be beneficial to addressing the point I made.
