Got a red for very little going by the video I saw tbh and thats me as a complete neutral. Definitely not a challenge you'd want to see someone miss a county final over ffs

I have watched it and was at the match. Deserved red card, there were no refereeing mistakes that I can see that merit an overturning.

It was a red all day long ffs.

No genuine attempt to play the ball and just barged into a player leading with his elbow. I know Cross are used to getting away with this sort of thing and given how much Neil McGeown let them away with in the last game he ref'd them they were probably aghast that he decided to actually use his cards against them.

I thought that was a red as well. An unlucky one from Rian's point of view but did look high and dangerous. Them ones are the ones that you feel sore about when they go against you in fairness I can see the other point of view

Strange thing to say that the opposition's best player getting sent off cost CE, but I get what you mean. Wasn't at the game but from talking to people that were, Rian going off seemed to flip a switch and get the other lads particularly Oisin to lift everything another level. That plus maybe a case of Clann Eireann thinking job done at that stage I'm not sure.

Cross have the fire power to absolutely blow Killeavy out of the water early on but hopefully it's tight game and goes down to the wire.
