It doesn't have to be that intense. Utilize the do not disturb function. 1 number can push through mine, my college aged daughter. Not Wife, Mum, Dad, or anyone else

My work apps never stop due to the global nature of the company and I was exhausted with my EU colleagues who don't give a flyin f**k that it's our bedtime over here. Do not disturb and turning off notifications for social media has been a great refreshing aspect. Between that and the CPAP I am flyin.

Daylight savings coming up. A difficult time of year for a lot of people. Keep on talking

I let my workphone die and then handed it back. Never felt I was off when I had it

I made an awful mistake this year, we went on a luxury two week holiday in the summer and I downloaded my work emails, chats etc to my personal phone. I was sitting in the mornings when others were sleeping doing work and responding to issues with the wife and kids unaware

I leave my work phone at my desk now. Made the mistake of taking it home.

I wouldn't have a pile of emails calls to do after work hours, but certainly on days off, I personally like getting through some stupid emails via the phone so I don't have a pile of unanswered shite when i go back to work..

If anyone from my work reads this though they will say I never respond or read emails
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Problem for me is that I WFH for 95% of the time, I spend as much time in my home office as I do in any other room

Ah lads, definitely switch the work phone laptop off after hours and disconnect. Most of the time you're getting no thanks for it and the work will still be there in the morning.

Yes everyone has the odd day with something coming up you might need to do a bit of overtime but definitely don't make it a regular thing!

Our work phone has the option of pausing work apps. T'is a blessing for when your off.
