Will Kyle be junior A if Ctown win there appeal?

Verbal

Hard to prove some of the things being said?

Were fellas playing under false names?

Interesting results in the intermediate.
Mountrath whom i fancied failed to deliver.
Did they take their eye off it and looked at possible final vs slieve bloom
The harps are a formidable opponent for any team at this grade with a mix of youth and experience.
Looks like an interesting final.
Slieve bloom again looked good vs abbeyleix without setting game alight.
As was said by previous post, their firepower came to the fore with Ben and Ciaran to the forefront.
Abbeyleix worked solid for the hour but just found the lads hard to handle.

Window closed for an appeal, do you know if one is in?

Some bad sullying of Kyle's win going on, you'd wonder would they come out and clear matters up.

Careful tho, half the clubs in the county are probably illegal if we went digging

Good win for Slieve Bloom. They were really quite impressive in the second half, and The Harps only had one point to show for most of it. A a bit surprised that Harps were the ones who seemed to tire. Slieve Bloom might even have won by more, only for some poor shooting. At any rate, they've found (poached!?) a couple of players, and are better than they were last year.

The Premier Intermediate final was quite entertaining, without really producing the fireworks. Camross really up for it in the first half, and Castletown strangely off it. They came out in the second half with a bit more intent, though, and took their goals well. Very young team, seemed put off by the Camross antics at first, but I suppose the age caught up with Camross in the end, too. Could easily see two or three of that Camross team in contention for places in the final (!). Thinking of Joe Phelan, and Ashton Keenan.

Sbloom play wexford chips now they played well yesterday good win. Ctown got over thue line tough battle they didn't hurl well apart from 10mins at the start of the second half. Play meath winners now in leinster.

Quote from: mountrath1 on October 04, 2026, 07:56:34 AMBrilliant result for slieve bloom. After a slow start and concession of 2 sloppy goals they completely took over. Ben,ciaran, and Evan power were immense. Fitness wise they were all over the harps. Boyhan on the line had them primed. He really knows how to get teams ready (o dempseys etc). No doubt they will enjoy the celebrations. Who have they in leinster?.

Thanks Mick

Cheers verbal. Big game today for the harps now after yesterday's result..

Potentially catastrophic for that club. Very poor judgement

Laois man

Disgraceful in this day and age how would Chairman allow that to happen.

Absolutely. Kyle are on their last legs. Would they have survived a season in Junior "A"? Doubtful. Roscrea aren't letting lads across to hurl there any more, and they have hardly any of their own. I could see this debacle spelling the end for them. Don't know exactly who appealed this (there are suggestions that a few of the junior "B" teams did), but it's a shame to see hurling clubs putting the boot in.

So a team can play aload of lads under false names and it's OK. Every club that puts in a team costs 1000e a team. Teams train to try win a Junior B Cship not to be rode out of it.

It's a messy business all round. Poor judgement and no winners

This isn't the 1950s.
The whole thing can't be allowed to turn lawless.
