Ballylinan took some beating. Fair play to Kilcavan getting to the final.

Just saw yesterday's game. Ballylinan looked very unfit. Ballyfin effectively ran them ragged for the second half of normal time and all of extra time. Doubt if Ballylinan will be senior for a while now. Their better players are all the wrong side of 30+. Love watching Darragh Connolly and Sean Moore play. They are such natural footballers.
Final could be a cracker.

Watched the Kilcavan v Mountmellick game on CLubber, a decent match with Kilcavan worthy winners. They have the makings of a good senior side given their age profile but will have to overcome an experienced Ballyfin side who have already got the better of them earlier in the competition. Ballyfins experience could be the crucial factor as Kilcavan were probably 8+ points the better side yet won by 3. If Ballyfin are in a similar position they could exploit it.

Still I'd have to go for Kilcavan based on that semi final, they are a well drilled hungry side full of running and their half back line in particular is quality. Hopefully the Lalor lad at number 7 gets called up to the county panel at some stage as he has serious potential.

I think Kilcavan have the winning of that intermediate but their numbers could be the killing of them if they get senior. Although I doubt they'll give a hell if that happens. Getting rid of that cork bluffer was the makings of them.

I think they have more young lads coming through but it would be great to get to Senior and maintain it for a couple of years. The hardest bit of course is getting there.
