Ballygowen

a big yo yo for RE, form runners up to second worse team.  they could be contenders next year, mad the way it can go. Clonaslee gone down intermediate, thats a tough grade now, the likes of slivebloom or mountrath could be there next year, potentially PRT or Castletown up and other clubs second team. its a hard grade to win. no guarantees in it.

Good win for CS, it would of been 50/50 with them and clonad, CS lead for most of the game, a semi final against Castletown for them. a very tough ask there, they played already and lost by 10 or 13 points, probably the least amount so far against Castletown. but you'd expect nothing more than a Castletown win here. still not a bad season for CS, many would put them in relegation. is it the winner of this goes senior automatically?

CB good win against MM, it was kind of predictable. MM side of the group was the weaker side. 3 of the other group in the semi's now. CB will give it to camross, but i agree with Laois red a Castletown / Camross Final written all over it.

Yes I agree with you on RE. They went to the final last year, although on the easier side of the draw. Not only that but they won the Div 2 League in June this year beating Ballinakill's first team. Then went from that to a must win game in September to stay up. I know they lost a couple especially upfront but they were poor in the group games. They seemed to have a stronger team out the last day than in the prior matches. A real yo yo year.

The last 3 matches in this should be decent games. Obviously Castletown are favourites and will want to bounce straight back up but Camross are strong. Bringing a junior player on in a recent senior championship match to save their Premier Intermediate panel, signals their intent to me.

Cbolla v Camross will be a closed Premier intermediate sfinal.

. Slieve bloom will need to improve to take game to Abbeyleix
. Mountrath will have to much for The Harps
. Trumera will be delighted to stay up.

Looking like Abbeyleix vs Mountrath final

Someone told me mountrath have 3 under20s in there backs. The young carroll is a really fine hurler but thats a lot of inexperience against a Harps team that have a lot of pace and physical strong forwards. I think with the second teams all settled bow that abbeyleix and the Harps will have a big say in this.

If they both win would clonaslee stay up!

Why would they? Harps and Abbeyleix have no team in Premier Intermediate.

Anyway, fancy Mountrath to win this.

County Board / Hurling Board / Community will hardly tolerate Kyle blatantly playing illegal players throughout the Junior B championship & in a County final ??

Making a mockery of the whole county and every other club big & small who do things right.
Thought these days were well past.

Please go on. I have zero idea about this

Playing lads under wrong names in this day and age is a disgrace by a club.

Would that not be easy to prove if there must be photos from the matches esp the final. Can the co board invstigate or do a club have to object i wonder?

Helmets on for the photos before and after the match😂

They had at least 5 starters, all who contributed strongly, hurling under  false names as they are Roscrea players, with one of them being U17 also
As mentioned above have a look at the 'team ' photo on Laois Today
