Scottish football is full of them. Hibernian won the Scottish Cup after 104 years

Kobe is going to St Kilda who haven't won since 1966.

Did Loughgiel senior hurlers not lose 7 finals in the recent past?

Somebody can correct me.

Cork hurlers.
Armagh on penalty shootouts. lol
St Pauls in Armagh have lost something like 5 intermediate finals in 6 years now!

Salthill thrashed Corofin in the 1990 county final with a team laden with county players, (not just Galway ones). They looked set to dominate the domestic scene for a good decade. Instead, they lost the following year's final to Corofin after a replay, who would instead go on to be king pins in Galway for many years after. Despite having many strong line-ups on paper, Salthill would lose 7 finals after 1990 and only add on a paltry 2 more. Real underacheivement.

Donaghmore. Shocking championship record at Senior and Intermediate despite being a fairly big club in Tyrone, by that I mean first round exits most years regardless of opponent. Although there is a generation coming that might change that (x3 Tyrone minor championships 2021-2023) and Fergal Logan managing them now. Be an interesting few years coming up for that club

Salthill beat us in Croke Park 2004 on Paddy's day, they did alright at some point
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.
