Some incredible misses by Down. Wicklow by 1 with 3 minutes to play. Another chance goes to waste 2 minutes left.

Looks like Wicklow are too good for Tailteann too.

I'd be proud to be a Wicklow man right now. That was astonishing belief.

But f**k me, Down went MIA. Our spine disintegrated and the rest had no idea what to do.

Down are too good for this level.

Doesn't make them contenders for an AI btw. Just that if Down were playing Louth today we would all expect a close game. We shouldn't be in Tailteann (even if we've earned it).

Genuinely an all time bottle job by Down. Not only given how much of a lead they gave away - but not being able to score a single point in the last 10 minutes after Wicklow drew level (much of it with an extra man), and missed several scoreable point attempts, and trying to needlessly run in goals while all they needed was a fisted point to get the scoreboard ticking...

Congrats Wicklow, some balls to get back into that. Both sides deserve every bit of how that game ended
