Tyrone need to follow this mantra and also learn from Armaghs mistakes and go at them. Jordan's two point potential could be crucial for Tyrone. Fitness of Canavan also a big factor, even for squad depth.

Kerry were 4 or 5 players short for both games. If Murphy was sent off in the league final the game would have been completely different. Burns red card changed the game Kilarney.

Tyrone could beat Kerry for many reasons but I really don't see this Kerry team as soft.

they need to shut down the supply to DC. Do that and theyre half way there

Armagh did that  to an extent (first half) , but  two or three   long kick passes and Kerry  got 1-2 or 1-3. Whereas Armagh  piddled about with the ball  and had to  work  so hard for their single point scores

Armagh  kicked no 2 pointers nor hoofed it in to FF, and Kerry  easily got their  defensive screen in position. Tyrone need to mix it up , to have any chance.

agreed. thats the other part of what they need to do. Easier said than done though. I imagine they will be watching a lot of video of the armagh attack/defence in the lead up

Thow kennedy in ff throughout the game. Tyrone have done this befor but never actually bothers to kick the high ball into him. Need to launch in a few. Put Kennedy in around the D, have him break it down into the larger d area to an oncoming Darragh/Darren/Ethan it would create a bit of chaos for Kerry

this x 1000 as going down to 13 or 14 men really works in the modern game. And to further cement your point, Kerry are out and Donegal are still standing, right?

What Donegal did show is you can beat Kerry missing 8 odd starters and down a man in a non-knockout game. But if Tyrone do start slapping them it should work

I'm sure he doesn't mean literally, but you definitely need to get aggressive and physical with them, Armagh let Geaney and Clifford dance round them without laying a glove. That'll get you nowhere.

There is nothing in championship history to suggest that Kerry will lay down against a physical approach.

The only way to beat them is to make fewer mistakes overall, and to be relentless when you have the momentum.

This is hard to do. It doesn't happen very often against Kerry. But it's a much better strategy than thinking you can rough up a team of physical specimens.

Not sure if I understand this properly.
Are you saying that we aren't good enough so we should try kicking in 50/50 balls and rely on lucky breaks ?

Tyrone kicked the shite out of them in the noughties, but yeah you're going to need to match them for. physicality and aggression , while also making little or no mistakes- no cheap possession given away and little or no easy chances missed.

Maybe the odd one to test out the fullback line/keeper but I'd definitely try to avoid losing the ball needlessly as 2 or 3 kicks and you'll have conceded a 2 pointer

DaleCooper

The Kennedy floating FF approach has never worked in any real way in the big games.

Would prefer Conn hanging around centre half area driving in and having a lash at goal or laying off

This current Tyrone don't tend to rough teams up (much).  If they try this against Kerry it will be out of character.  Kerry are no softies - the likes of the Cliffords can handle themselves.
That's just, like your opinion man.

Estimated Attendance for the double headers according to Croke Park

Saturday 50,000
Sunday  70,000

Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Tyrone have some of the bite back, blocking working and look hungry.

Just hope they can stay in touch , minimise mistakes and express themselves who knows.

Some of Donegals mistakes were horrific, basic errors.

I see the draw (if required) will be Sunday after the live match.
They can do it on a Sunday with a fortnight gap and the venue already known, but couldn't when there were only a week gap between fixtures and venues not decided.
