Would be interesting to see how it would go with a defamation case if Donaldson is proven guilty.

It'd certainly clip the wings of fukkers like Kieran Vaughan.

What was Donaldson's side of the story in what he was supposedly apologising for in both the letter of apology or the apology at the Armoy meeting?

Also did the wife not say in her police interview that when she walked in on him with the complainant that it always bothered her what was going on and she questioned him about it for years after

Was thinking that myself when I heard that Maldini.

What was the meeting miles and miles away about then?

Sue a barrister? Be nice to live in that world but the most would be discplinary matter. Under the adversial system its viewed as "fair play".

The Lucy Letby case was particularly awful in this regard.

The system would collapse if you had that. And not in a good way

Begs the question...why??? These lads are all hypocritical bastards.

there have been many rumours over the years that it wouldn't be women he was a fan of.

I was referring to the fact he was shocked to hear of his infidelity, regardless of his proclivities.

His infidelity was probably not the biggest shock, the rent boy industry thrives around Westminster.

It was "women" throwing themselves at him and he, a sinner, couldn't control his urges...

Well, if the legal system ever wonder why such a low proportion of rape and sexual abuses cases come to court - the courts need to take a good look in the mirror.

It's a balancing act. Both the accuser and accused should have the same rights to be heard and robustly challenged, within defined rules of engagement, in response. If someone was to accuse you of something you didn't do I'm sure you wouldn't be proposing a softly-softly approach with the accuser.

Obviously people are not agreeing, it might be that one or two that are digging their heals in or possibly working out which one to give guilty to
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

I would assume that their difficulty is around Mrs D and whether or not she knew the full picture

Could be or could be on one or two charges or it could be on the other defendant's guilt or innocence

Well that would need a law change so I wouldn't have thought that's likely at all.
