Starting Stones who has played limited football this season ahead of Guehi was a strange one for me last night.  I would have had Guehi down as the first choice centre back.

Not sure you can win a World Cup with Stones and Konsa at centre half, they did look excellent going forward which is a worry.

I think some of you are getting carried away with how good England are. Croatia aren't a great side, two of their starting 11 were players pushing 40.
France, Argentina even Spain despite them being poor the other night are better than England imo. The Dutch also would be equal.

I've been impressed with some of the African teams so far. Morocco, Senegal and DR Congo are no push overs. Would be great to see one or more go deep into the tournament.

O'Reilly is also not a left back. He will get found out against a decent winger. From midfield up they are very good. They definitely have a chance unfortunately.
