"We've just got attacked racially by some white person. He's physically attacked my brother, we're Sikhs, we wear a turban and he's just attacked my brother. We're restraining him right now because he's just attacked my brother and took my brother's turban off. He also said, he's verbally attacked my brother racially. I'm not having this as a regular occurrence, I live here, I'm not having this a regular occurrence. He ain't fighting people, he's racially attacking people, that's what he's doing. Nah, he sees some brown people, that's what it was."

The judge gave leniency because of the murderers "good record". 21 years and he will be out. Amazing.

Quote from: Wildweasel74 on Today at 01:43:07 AMThw f**king dumbwits handcuffed him when he bleeding out. And only phone am ambulance when he non-responsive. What sort idiots they hiring these days. Lad said he stabbed, bleeding, phone an ambulance first thing.

They handcuffed him because they took the guilty party at his word that Nowak was the racist aggressor, there were no injuries to Vickrum Digwa.

There is no way they intended to allow someone to die though, this was the worst level of judgement that could have happened

Though its being weaponised by those that quite frankly couldn't give a stuff about anything else as long as it pushes their agenda

Few things that need to come out of it though

These ceremonial knives need to be a thing of the past, knife crime in the UK is horrendous and for those that claim it's part of their religion to have these knives about them is a goner, importing and the sale of knives should be banned, other than cooking and eating knives, why are they actually allowed? Hunting? ffs! that should be banned too

Full independent investigation on how these cops conducted that situation, lessons and re training of arresting procedures and for those that were involved disciplinary and possible charges brought

The pain and suffering of his family will have to endure more when the far right start using it for their own push though

"The Sikh Federation said the blade used by Digwa was not a religious knife, known as a kirpan. It has condemned the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) for not making this clear during the trial, telling the BBC the community has been "demonised"."

wasnt even a ceremonial knife.

Puerile comment.

The puerile comments will be from those that really don't give a shite but see it as an opportunity..

Look at this murder for what it was, a deranged knife freak who had an obsession for knives attacking and killing someone, and the complete lack of understanding of the situation by the bell end of police officers involved

None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

New charges have just been brought against the assailant, his father and brother.

Found it odd that the brother wasn't charged as he made the 999 call and lied through his teeth about the make believe racist incident.
Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

What, like the far-left using the Yves Sakila death for their own ends?

CPS strategy I would guess to secure one headline conviction then round up the rest?

The mother took the knife, brother lied also, not sure what the father did, not uncommon for families to lie about their kids involvement in serious crimes or murders

What, like the far-left using the Yves Sakila death for their own ends?

Exactly, see it for what it is.. The mental gymnastics from both sides to prove their point shows them up for what they are.

On social media at the minute the Unionist politicians are falling over themselves to highlight this. You'd be blind or stupid to not see the daftness of it all

Political point scoring, pushing agendas and no fucks given to the actual family or the lad (in this case) given

The knife guy got his entire family entangled in an attempted cover up...and they obliged.

Can process a brother being involved but the dad propping the victim up whilst blatantly lying to police. Imagine.

The mother also tried to hide the knife and will be sentenced in a few weeks.
She'll get a might touch. Probably has caring responsibilities at home so 2 years suspended.

The Connacht GAA Air Dome is expected to be back in full use by the end of this month after the structure, which was destroyed during Storm Éowyn almost a year and a half ago, was reinflated on Tuesday morning.

The dome, located at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence at Bekan in Co Mayo, was destroyed by the high winds in that storm in January 2025 but has now been restored at a cost in the region of €4 million.

Inspired idea good to see it back. Is it normal grass or astro turf?

Any other fully covered pitches in the country?
