I see Paddy Power have Laois at 4/6 to win the Joe McDonagh with Carlow at evens.

The Boy Wonder

Well done to Laois hurlers and footballers in London - the synchronised scoring, 1-29,  was most impressive.

Job done.

On to Carlow in two weeks time. Should be a good day with the Dubs in the Leinster final.

It's a 50/50 game but lets hope we don't become the Leinster or Mayo of the Joe Mc. Can't be losing 3 in a row.

Laois Rising

Should be a great final against Carlow. Team has certainly improved as the competition progressed. Granted Westmeath and Antrim were not at the races this year and you would expect us to be too strong for London or Down, especially playing Down at home. The manner of the wins was impressive. Played well in those games and put up decent scorelines.

We'll ate Carlow alive in Croker. The timbering they done in netwatch wont work in Croker. Last year we weren't right either day against Kildare, as we thought we just had a bad day the first day and went again. We've torn it up this time and the build of the forward line has changed. We'll ate them.

We won't ate Carlow but we are fit to beat them the team for the final will be different than the team that played them in the first round.

You'd worry about their big players, Nolan, Kavanagh, etc. However, I think Laois management got their selection wrong the first day. The team seems much better now and settled.

Going to be tight.

Once we have a referee willing to punish the liberal use of timber that occurred, we have every chance

Kavanagh a great free taker but mightnt have the legs for Croke park. Nolan and Doyle are fine players but we have good lads aswell if they show up which I think they will. No messing in London after the game Sunday all fly back Sunday night recovered yesterday and playing a cork selection wed night in Cork.

Is Picky Maher starting for Laois these days?

I would worry about Chris Nolan in particular. Have we a player to nail him down? Not sure. If we can nullify him and maybe Doyle or Kavanagh, it would go a long way towards beating them. Laois have the players, they just have to turn up.

Didn't start against London, I'd say they were minding him. Started the couple before that.

Conway went off injured Sunday shoulder again hope he's OK and fit🙏
