That's genuinely exceptional from Down.

Almost flawless decision making.

Guinness and Murdock and Mooney all superb.

Tyrone will hope so, as if they bat Armagh then that's Tyrone in the Tailteann.

No thats Cavan that will drop

A win summoned right out of the best traditions of Down football. Swagger stamped all over it.

What a performance from Down!

Some job Laverty is doing there, fair play

Blowitupref

Outstanding stuff from Down.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Lamh Dhearg Alba

Great stuff from Down. For all they had played so well I suspected Donegal would take them in the closing stages. Far from it - Down saw it through in some style. Fair play to them!

JollyGreenGiant

Fair play to Down. Going into that last 8 with two points in it I felt Donegal would manage it to a win. Down were not interested in that and closed it out brilliantly.

If it came to the crunch would Donegal beat Kerry in championship? Can't see it.

Yeah you always thought Donegal would power through in the last 10 mins but Down were even better in that period than they were throughout the previous 60 minutes.

Where'd Caolan Mooney come from? I thought he retired? Some shift from him. Huge fan of Murdock as good a midfielder as there is in the country.

Great to see Donegal beat

Where does that  leave them  now?

Between Down and Westmeath, I guess Division 3 is the peak of Gaelic football right now.

Fair play to them. Very similar games. Division 1 and 2 champions "not at the pitch of it".
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

Playing as flat as we did today? Obviously no chance.

Both teams fully at it? Kerry have the better players, end of story.

Which is why they're AI favourites.
