Fair argument that's Roscommon missing 3 of their 4 best players? With McKeon also not far away but only on the bench.

I was looking forward to this one but it's surely massive advantage to Mayo now

For Mayo a championship debut for Kobe.

Is that 5 players from the Gaeltacht region starting for Galway?

Yes, few more on the bench as well. Technically Moycullen is in the Gaeltacht as well even though it's largely English speaking so you have to include Sean Kelly. I think he has Irish.

Think I can count 6 Irish speakers starting and another 2 on the bench. Cian Hernon's father is from the Aran Islands so presume he has Irish. Paul Conroy's father is from Connemara.

Possibility Comer has Irish as well but don't think I've heard him speaking it.

Nice mix of lads from the city gaeltacht and north of the county.

Is Claregalway loosely classified as Galetacht also?

Always in irish on road signs.

Yes, Most it not all of Claregalway is still in the Gaeltacht I believe. Although wouldn't be much Irish spoken out there these days. Traditionally there was a good bit.

No one talking about the game.
Presumably a handy one for Galway who are then guaranteed a home game in Round 1.
Whatever chance we had against Mayowestros is gone with Creggs suspension.
Damage limitation and then get down to preparing for a trip to...
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

I suppose the DRA is the last chance saloon but will be another box ticking exercise by the administrators. Decision upheld. I think we should do it anyway under the leaving no stone unturned. If you told me after club All-Ireland no Brigids players would start against Mayo in the championship, i'd have said you're mad but Stack, Fallon are still recovering from injury. Cunnane and Hand should make an appearance at some stage. It will be a tough one, but i still think we can do it.

O'Carroll/Fallon and Stack playing for Brigids this evening??!!

Looks like they made the difference as well just the 26pts in it.

Why are they not in the squad if fit to play?

Match fit for intercounty championship squad v fit to play in a club league game.

Would be Stacks first appearance since the All-Ireland club final in January. Fallon,O'Carroll got little game time for Roscommon during the league and didn't play against New York.

Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Fair enough.

Was Fallon the guy that kicked the two pointers in the club final?

Thought he'd have been fit to go or did he pick up a knock since?

Injured just after coming on as a sub v Donegal.
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

Mayo should be winning this well. I expect them to beat Galway in two weeks.

Sean Fitzgerald in for Cian Hernon the one change for Galway.  Jack Glynn added to subs. A 19th championship campaign for Paul Conroy is some stat on longevity.

Leitrim start as selected.

Half time Leitrim 0-4 Galway 0-11

Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

What is it with Galway and dog-turd goalkeepers?

thebigfullforward

What's the actual punishment for not coming out after half time? If one team is out for however many minutes before the other it needs looked at
