Apparently he was 90th out 91 in driving accuracy over the first two days including 0 for 8 on the par five's. If that doesn't improve he could come back to the field very quickly

If this happens this is all on you david

It will be sweet revenge for his dad asking me to be removed from a boys tournament all those years ago because I was in playing that poorly I was apparently putting Rory off

A fiendish plan decades in the making.

If true, and I've no reason to doubt you, that's quality 🤣🤣🤣

Brilliant story to have!

Rory's biggest asset is his driving, that's misfiring and he has still got biggest halfway masters lead. His putting and wedges would need to complete desert him to blow this.

7 under for the 8 par 5's so far and think he's layed up on most of them. A round in the 60's today could see the someone having to break the course record on Sunday just to catch him.

A great story to have David.

Be great to say it to him if you ever met him.

Ask any of these golfers they snap your arm off to be 6 up halfway through, but Rory could throw it away with a couple in the water!
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Back home from what was an epic visit to Georgia including 12 hours on property at AGNC for the Wednesday practice round.

If you ever get the chance to go, take it. It was one of the most memorable days in my life at one of the most unique places I think I could ever visit. The vibe, the organization, the sheer vastness of the property is mind blowing. We lucked out from the moment we got to Georgia in many aspects of the trip but our luck at AGNC was great. Were able to avoid most lines, managed to follow Rory from 10-13. He seemed so relaxed, and it would be fantastic if he can get this done this weekend to really go into the history books after so many shitty finishes at the Masters. I also managed to get him in our club pool which will be a nice lift if he gets the job done.

Followed Shane, Sepp Straka and Vijay for the entire front 9. Caught Tommy's hole in one at the par 3. Food and Drink concessions are exceptionally cheap, the tickets are not expensive either unless you're buying them on the secondary market - which runs the risk of being refused admittance.

AGNC is NOT to be fucked with. The general vibe is one of everyone being on their best behavior, because out of nowhere these plain clothed Pinkertons will just be standing next to you and you will be in Augusta Jail or headed out of the property in cuffs. The self policing of the patrons is amazing to see. Put your chair down, no one will touch it. People may sit in your chair but the moment you return they immediately vacate. I got to use the courtesy phones to call my wife and my dad and I guess when the calls came into their phone it just said "Masters". My wife worried that I had gotten in trouble or been hit with a ball or something when she saw it come up.

The network of tunnels that must exist under the ground is insane to contemplate. All concession stands are fully loaded at all times on the course - but not once will you see carts with pimento cheese sandwiches and all the things they sell being shipped out to the various concession stands. All done under ground.

Managed to catch up with a friend from home who was there in a coaching capacity for MkKibben and Nick Taylor - we hadn't seen each other in 20 years and it was a great catch up.

Fell into bed like a child on Christmas night. Busted, but couldn't wait to get up the next day and go low just like the pros as they make it look so easy. Shot a smooth 88 instead  ;D. On Thursday we played a course called Cuscowilla about half way between Atlanta and Augusta. The member that hosted us (he just drove around while 4 buck eejits he had never met before played his course) told us that last year Rory stayed in a compound home on Cuscowilla and took his chopper over to Augusta every morning.

We are hopefully in for some weekend - and we should be very proud of that young man leading the pack!

Also, the southern hospitality is superb.

That's a great experience Puck, very few get that chance. Mad jealous.

Coffee,Egg Salad, Pimento Cheese, Bag of Crisps, Candy Bar, Muffin, Fruit Cup - all $1.50
Chicken Salad, Pulled Pork, Breakfast Sandwich, Chicken Biscuit - all $3.00
Gatorade, Soda - $3.50
Domestic Beer, Import Beer - $5.00
Masters Signature Beer - $6.00
White Wine - $6.00
Georgia Peach Ice Cream Sandwich - $3.00
No tipping

Sampled all in bold. No hard liquor on premises, no one yelling Mashed POTATO and shit like that. Domestic Beer was Miller Lite, Import Beer was Stella I believe. All cups for all drinks were collectable items, so they save a ton on recyling and trash. Actually saw people digging in trash areas for empty cups people had discarded.
