The Iranians have Hormuz and control over the gulf and they are still firing missiles at Israel. They have missile stores in the mountains and the Yanks don't know how much. Israel is down to 1 week of interceptors. Yanks have 3.

They are running an asymmetric war so they don't need a navy.

No one is winning. The difference is that Iran didn't want or start this war, so they are doing what they can given the circumstances they were forced into. And despite what Trump is spouting, they haven't lost yet.
America and Israel on the other hand went in expecting another quick win. They didn't get that. And now the US population is turning against the war. While the US hasn't lost the war, they've already made sure it won't be a win either. They didn't expect to be this stretched by a "small" country like Iran and invested much more than they anticipated.
That said, Iran will be devastated. And they seem quite prepared to go the distance, whatever that costs.

The land grab continues:

Around 600,000 residents who have been evacuated from southern Lebanon will not be able to return until the safety of residents in northern Israeli is guaranteed, Israel's defence minister has said.

What about Trump's complete lack of a coherent plan then?

He's gutted the intelligence staff across a number of agencies whose job it was to advise the government on issues like Iran. He's got an out-of-his-depth, unserious, morally bankrupt poser leading the Dept. of Defense War. Rubio and Vance are trying to stay out of sight so they can protect their own arses for the future. The rationale for the war excursion has changed by the hour since it started, and is now basically limited to knocking out Iran's military capability and reopening the Strait of Hormuz, which was open before they even bloody started. No word now of regime change or even the nuclear threat.

And oil prices are a pretty good weapon for a relatively small opponent to have and use.

And let's not forget that its not even two years since the likes of Trump and Vance were campaigning on Kamala Harris starting WW3 by attacking Iran.
