Such a horrible time of the year and with social media we are really seeing the extent of how depression is hitting this place!

Keep talking and demand help..

None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

There'll be a grand stretch in the evenings soon, hopefully it'll get easier for people.

I know a few people that have deleted social media recently and have said it's really helped their head space.

I've done this for lent this year. Works a treat to be fair.

I'll go back on after Easter as the kids school post a lot on Facebook but that'll be it.

In my case, things got so bad that I started drinking to cope, which made the depression a thousand times worse.

I love your 'game mechanics' approach, but I struggled to stay consistent on my own. What finally made everything click was following the advice of Dr. Ash Bhatt, who guided me through a structured program at Legacy Healing that focused on exactly what you mentioned, cutting out the 'depressants' like alcohol and rebuilding brain health from a clinical perspective. Your list is amazing, but for me, having that professional guidance was the missing piece to making those habits stick long-term.

Everybody will be different. Gotta do whatever works for you. Keep at it.
