The game is on rte/bbc, im
Not sure if it's definitely available to buy on GAA plus. I presume it must be for all Ireland semi final

Maybe it will be accessible closer to the throw in time

If the BBC are showing it then it will only be available outside these islands.

GAA Plus not showing many games at this time of year.

Does it mostly show Championship games?

I know there is a lot of crossover with the BBC, RTÉ thread but GAA+ should bite the bullet and pick up any games that TG4 and RTÉ aren't showing and get the clips up that same day.
It's also not good enough in this day and age to wait for 3 days if TG4 are the ones assigned to the highlights to line up with linear TV.
You could have a cracker of a game on a Saturday and no-one gets to see a second of it until Sunday night at best.
them mysterons are always killing me but im grand after a few days.sickenin aul dose all the same.

I'm sure it's frustrating for fans of Div 2 through Div 4 teams.  I suppose the positive of reaching Division 1 is you get to see your county all the time.

I'm content selecting a couple of games to watch each day.  So long as the championship gets better coverage.

What does disappoint me as a new fan(2011) is the lack of older games offered.  I wrote to GAA+ about it, pointing out there are more classic games available on YouTube than what they offer.  They were kind enough to reply, however they had nothing tangible to offer.

It'd be nice to have every major championship game available for reference or reliving a great past game or, in my case, watching it for the first time.

I guess there's no demand for them.  After all, North American sports leagues, like the NFL, do not offer classic games to their fans either.  On the other hand the Masters has provided every final round going back to 1968 on YouTube.  The USGA also offered every US Open final round back to the 1960s...even for the ladies!

I have to conclude it can't be that hard to do.  Therefore why don't other sports, besides golf, do it?

We are going into week 5 and Roscommon are yet to be shown live on TV.

Ah sure we don't exist in RTÉ land and we have no Gaeltacht areas.
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

I watched them against Armagh.  However it's what fans in Ireland see that matters.  If Roscommon is being ignored then that isn't right.  Is GAA football coverage the Dublin-Kerry Show or is that just my misguided impression?

To be fair to EVERY county there should be set rules on which counties get televised and how often.  Something like: each Div 1 team gets 4 games, each Div 2 2 games...etc.

This is why I hate the Group stage of the championship.  Besides being somewhat redundant, it's just an excuse to give the usual suspects extra coverage.  Meanwhile 16 counties get turfed to tier two football.  A convenient excuse to mostly ignore them.  They should return to the backdoor system, which gave everyone a second championship game.

The GAA should treat every county equally.  Kerry & Dublin will still get prime coverage at the end of the championship, if they've earned it.

You mean 16 are graded in any given year into a competition they will be competitive in and a good few have a chance of winning and playing for Sam the following year...

Any county that reaches a provincial finalists qualifies for that year's Sam Maguire, so technically no team is excluded from the Premier competition.

Armagh vs Roscommon was on the TG4 app, whether or not you want to count that as being shown lol

Group stage is no longer Eoin, more's tye pity, but we're moving to a new system more aligned with the old back door format
