Only properly watched a few mins of Armagh v Donegal.
Armagh still running into excellent positions and then choosing to overplay it. Jarly Og the prime culprit.
They'd be so much more dangerous if they actually went for the throat.
Anyway, looking forward to MacHale Park next weekend, the Armagh crowd were very welcoming any time I've been up there, very like Connacht people I thought, although the reps here seem far more argumentative  ;D

He just stumbled and fell. Few lads around him but nothing obvious.

Although if a player does that in the 'square' nowadays, referee more than often gives it. But they only have 1 view at it. On tv and when slowed, it's not enough for me. A bit of pressure and player goes down far too easy.

The most hateful shower of c***ts I've ever come across. Maybe it's recency bias but I'm actually putting them ahead of Tyrone these days on the ****ometer :D

The what-ometre?  ;D

Donegal's antics last year  did move them up  the  hateful list , I have to agree

I think he'll be a Donegal legend. Has everything.

The old adage of 'an old head on young shoulders' in football terms. No wonder Mc Guinness was looking him in a year early.

Am still with Monaghan in that category lol

I seen Roarty at 17,and on the day i though Derry had better players in Rodgers,Higgins,McKeigue.and Sargent, Only 2 are on the county panel, and Rodgers come on  just 2 senior games of them 4.

He did v little v Tyrone last year in the under 20s

Roarty is a class act, seems to be involved in everything and a natural successor to the role mchugh has played so well for donegal.

Donegal were good for their win, I would rank them second behind Kerry.

Armagh wasteful again, plenty of opportunities to get something out of the game but just making the wrong choices. Grugan probably needed to pull the strings moving forward.

The lack of goals is a big concern

Well given that he started the senior semi a few days beforehand and the senior final a week later, we in Donegal werent too hard on him in our assessment of his form for his first season.

When did Armagh become such a running game based team? We're very Donegalesque.

Tubberman

Wouldn't it be a bit more sensible to show Galway v Ros first, seeing as it wasn't shown anywhere last night?
And show Armagh v Don last, since it was already shown live in-full earlier!

It's odd how we see different things in football.

When Armagh climbed the peak a couple of years ago, I'd have put most of it down to being able to bring a strong running game off the bench as things opened up.

Armagh this year, to me, are playing with all sorts of off the cuff variety.

But whereas they seemed comfortable with their odds in a last quarter "slow" shootout, they seem nervous with the prospect of the "what lead is enough?" Kind of shootout that now emanates.

I think they'll get over this by championship. Their forwards are too good for it not to happen.

What ever came of the investigation into the incident after the Ulster final last year?

Sense and RTÉ gaelic games programmes don't mix.
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

This might have described the Galway game, but in the last two games Armagh had the wind in the second half and just had to catch up on their opponents score.
