Speaking of Antrim, where is Sunday's game? No venue listed on the Antrim socials. Was supoosed to be Cargin but that has been removed and no venue is listed. Would like to make plans, esp if we could squeeze in an overnight.

No need for a venue. Just give Longford a walkover & save any hassle.

I would have no issue with this approach but surely to God things aren't that bad? Shur, only a few years they were fancying their chances in Ulster - remember the fuss over the game in Corrigan Park v Armagh.

The only thing that can be said in favour of the Antrim footballers after yesterday is that the hurlers are even worse. On current form, Antrim GAA must be well in the running for 32nd place in an All Ireland ranking table.

And managers Mark Doran with the footballers and Davy Fitzgerald with the hurlers wouldn't come cheap, in the future the Antrim county board would be better off appointing someone local.

Antrim just announced on X still no venue for Sunday. This is embarrassing. They should move game to Clones or Armagh (if available) or, better still, Longford.

Result Waterford 0-9 Wicklow 0-14. Like old rules scoreline.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Longford v good value for the big win today in Portglenone. 19pts in the first half (inc 6 * 2 pointers) with a small breeze in our favour.

Antrim are very limited and God help them in Ulster with the trip to Derry.

Longford welcome Tipp next Sunday. Hopefully the form showed today can be continued.

I was at the game. Longford are no great shakes. You got Antrim at the right time as they're a shambles tactically and are not playing for the manager. Longford took full advantage and rightly so. Congrats and hope you can finish the year strongly now. Spoke to a few Longford heads at half time, lovely people and good craic. Wish you well.

On Sunday Leitrim was 10 points behind away to London, Barry McNulty after a long injury lay off was introduced in the 2nd half and he scored 6 two pointers as his team went on to win by a couple of points.

Thanks CK - and you are 100% correct. Well, about the no great shakes anyway. I'd be the first to admit it but there were times when Antrim made us look like Kerry. You must have been talking to someone from a different knot of Longford supporters. There were feck all of us there! I hung out beside the Deluxe Trailer for all of the second half. It provided a modicum of shelter and we could listen to John Duffy and Liam Tierney commenting for the local radio.

What's going on with Antrim?

Definitely showed enough against us that day in Corrigan that you'd think they'd be very strong in division 4?

Longford v Tipp.

In Longford.

I am betting on the savings on a home win............

Looking forward to the Trip to Glennon Brothers Pearse Park , Friends of Tipperary Football running a Bus as they usually do to away games , Longford is always a great day out . Don`t underestimate this young Tipp side , had Carlow on the ropes last week but inexperience and some youthful errors let us down !
