Exeter gave Man City more of a game here than Spurs and they were beat 10-1. I think they're in a bit of bother relegation wise. I can't see many points in their next few games and their players don't look like they have any fight in them whatsoever.

Their Fans cheering the 2nd city goal.. Jesus thats dire stuff.

No they weren't. They cheered when Semenyo fell over doing his celebration.

There was a couple of fans behind the goals cheering, wasn't talking about the cheer for Semenyo falling after doing his cart wheel.

United, Newcastle and Arsenal next 3 games for Spurs.. Real danger of getting dragged into relegation places

Remember that 5cm rule they made up a month ago to allow a Liverpool goal to stand v fulham

Same didn't apply for Fulham today at old Trafford

Benefit the big teams at all times, keep the viewing numbers on sky up

Milltown Row2

These things work out over the season

Anyways spurs were unlucky
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Didn't apply for any Premier League game apart from that Liverpool one. United certainly didn't benefit from it against City either.

Spurs won't be relegated, it's a bit like Everton the last few seasons before Moyes came back, there was always unfortunately enough teams worse than them so relegation was never gonna happen.
Didn't see any games today nothing on that interested me. Arsenal should win it by almost default at this stage, Man City aren't consistent enough, will probably win at Anfield next week though.
That Man United fella should be getting his hair cut soon enough now, seems like a decent enough fella, hopefully he won't be beaten up by his fellow Man United fans anymore once the hair is shaved.
It was fun while it lasted, always triggered a few muppets on here when you mentioned him.

United and Chelsea the form teams at the minute. Top 4 will be tight again.

They haven't even played 2/3 of the matches yet so too early to be calling any winners especially with Arsenal only having a 6 pt lead.

I'm not sure even Arsenal can lose it from here. Yeah plenty of games left but who is going to catch them really?
City probably can't write them off to be fair but they aren't the City from a few seasons ago.
Can see Villa being pulled back into the pack of the top 4 battle.

Liverpool will overtake both Man C and A Villa for second spot.

johnnycool

Villa's equaliser was ruled out because the ball had went out of play right at the very other end of the pitch (The ball was indeed out, I'm not arguing that point), they managed to work the ball all the way up the field and after the initial save from Kelleher was put in the net.

As this was deemed the same phase of play it was ruled out.

I thought that was very harsh.

How do you now define a phase of play?

Armagh18

United and Chelsea could possibly catxh Villa the way things are going. Annoyingly Liverpool and Chelsea have started winning at the same time United have.

The longer both keep going in Europe and FA Cup the more it should play to United being fresher for the league games, but that's a big if going by recent seasons.

Based on what?

Unless things change dramatically, Liverpool are in a dogfight for fourth or fifth.

Impressive and all as they were for 60 minutes on Saturday, they were awful for the first 30.

Newcastle come out to try and win game which suits Liverpool, City will be the same on Sunday.  It's Forest and Sunderland away which will no doubt be more problematic in the next few fixtures.

Liverpool are entirely dependent on 2 players keeping up their top level performances to have a chance of a top 4 place.

Ekitike and Szoboszlai, no matter where he plays are now the main men at Anfield.
