I mean if you look at the Deloitte "richest club" report that was released today, 6 out of top 10 richest clubs are premier league clubs & Wolves and Brentford are in the top 30 in Europe.

Did Arteta go too early on the changes? Did he need to make 4 changes at that period of the game? Ended up with the best right back in league at left back, his right winger playing on the left and Rice playing as the defensive midfielder.

Should have been 9 clear last Saturday night, now down to four Pep will smell blood.

Mourne Red

Haven't gotten ahead of myself because I've a notion that City would show something and after that performance I think leagues over and City will put the burners on now and win the title.

16 gutless performances there today whether it's the players or Arteta something has to change in the summer

Are Arsenal the new Wimbledon?

Scoring most of their goals from set plays were they lob it into the box, make it a bit of a scramble and hope for the best.

The lack of goals from open play must or should be a concern.

It's data-driven football and most importantly brings success against the PL's obsession with low blocks, whereby from set pieces, percentages fall in favour of the team with better players.

That said it's absolutely rancid football and should Arsenal win the league with this approach, they will be roundly regarded among the worst champions of all time.

Absolutely yes, very much in the mould of George Graham, which is grand

Expect them to fall over the line still, Rice will carry them if need be

Wonder why Europe is different then? Almost like opposition try play a little.

Two reasons

Playing without the domestic/bottler baggage, that bit more free

The continental opposition treat Arsenal like CL contenders and generally don't believe they can compete/beat before kick off as such

Odegaard hasn't really played in the Chanpions League why Arsenal play better there

Look-Up!

Arsenal very lucky City are labouring at moment but that's not something you should rely on for too long. They need to snap out of it quick. Better Arsenal teams than this have finished second fiddle in recent years.

Captain Obvious

Arsenal are managed by a fella that is too pragmatic, who relies on his defence and narrow wins and lots of goals from set pieces. Is now the time to take more risks when the league title is Arsenal's to lose?

Many blame his unadventurous approach to the City game a few seasons ago and subsequent draw as the beginning of the end of that title challenge. City to be fair went on a run afterwards and more draws killed him. Might get away with not losing too many this time round as City don't seem as prolific ATM but I'd rather see him try and win with a bit of abandon. I think he's  good manager but if their title challenge dies by a thousand cuts again this time round then you'd have to label him as a bit of a trophy dodger.
