Blowitupref

Knew the 3/1 odds for a draw was good value. Awful boring match. Bad looking injury for Bradley, Martinelli showed a lack of class in that incident.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

He misread the situation and he will regret it.

Surely understandable though given how often players fake injury?

Yeah, blood was up and he thought Bradley was wasting time.

Definitely owes him an apology once he calms down.

Misread what exactly? Bradley was clearly in a bad way. Arsenal had spent a lot of the half wasting time. He had his knee / thigh pushed into Bradley before more shithousery.. Understandable, no, he definitely not .

Martinelli was faking injury earlier in second half. He also threw the ball at Bradley.

Arsenal are an extremely unlikeable team imo.

Either you've never been embroiled in a game as player, or you're incapable of assessing sport objectively when your team is involved.

It wasn't nice behaviour. He will regret doing it. But as mentioned above, most players when they hit the ground do so to influence the referee or to waste time. He would not have acted like that had he the clarity to gauge injury. But he was embroiled in a game.

They're a horrible team. Spent billions to play set piece football, and have developed a cold arrogance they haven't (yet) earned.

RedHand88

Disgusting behavior by Martinelli and it's the sort of thing that will follow him around for the rest of his career.

mrdeeds

What Martinelli done was disgraceful but one thing in his defence Bradley moved himself so he was onto the pitch more so game couldn't continue. As for the claim Arsenal wasted time. Absolute nonsense. Liverpool took ages over frees and kickouts.

Captain Obvious

Absolute muck that match was. Good luck to those in media who are paid to hype up yet another low quality Premier League.

I don't think he did. I think he hit the ground and was obviously in agony. I don't think he had anything else in his head other than that imo.

Edit* Just had another look and he definitely didn't. Just Martinelli acting the p***k.

Watch it back, he moves himself onto pitch more.

At most Bradley's feet were off the pitch.

Look-Up!

Half expecting that sort of game. Arsenal have some problems upfront. A lot will depend on City's transfer business. Arsenal and City meet in April I think. Arsenal are durable enough so unless City go on one, it should still be a title decider.
